Osage Hills State Park is about 15 minutes west of Bartlesville on Rt. 60. This is a great place to camp, hike, swim, fish, watch wildlife, etc.
The park rents really nice cabins. This would be a god place to spend a weekend. It looks like all the cabins are air conditioned for summer and have a fireplace for fall and winter.
Standing next to the cabin are a couple of wild turkeys. We counted about 10 all together hanging around this one cabin.
This is a wonderful park and you are missing out if you don’t visit this park!
There are a ton of deer everywhere. You can’t get much closer than this! We were trying to see how close we could get before the deer started running. We got pretty close. There were about 10 deer together out having dinner.
This is a view from one of the lookout points in the park…
You can fish at the lake, go boating, or just enjoy the night.
Don’t forget to visit and take a picnic!
