Bartlesville Centennial Parade

Tonight was the Oklahoma Centennial Parade in Bartlesville. I wasn’t able to make this one but my family got some pictures for the blog. Everyone said it was a great parade with marching bands, floats, horses, candy, etc.

The parade was led by B-Ville’s finest. We really have a great police department in Bartlesville under the leadersip of Chief Tom Holland. The police department works closely with OWU and helps us whenever we need it. They are a wonderfully talented group.

No parade is complete without the colors….

Here is the entry for First Wesleyan Chruch. Rumor has it that Pastor Joe is in the back seat waving.

A great marching band (that’s the Price Tower behind them)….

Kids love a noisy marching band. They also love all the people who threw candy!
